TJC Welcomes New Intern
The Jesuit Collaborative recently welcomed a new member to the team, Alyssa Adreani who joined the staff in January as an intern. Alyssa is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Contemplative Leaders In Action Program – Boston. Alyssa is a full-time student at Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry, pursuing her goal of becoming a hospital chaplain. She graduated from Boston University in 1998 with a BA in Linguistics and Anthropology and an MA in Applied Linguistics in 2000. Alyssa’s previous career was in development, most recently at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Having taught in Italy for two years, Alyssa is fluent in Italian and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. She spent four summers with Volunteers for Peace in Poland, the Czech Republic and Japan, participated in City Year, and is currently involved with Toastmasters International, serving as a club leader at South Middlesex Correctional Center. Alyssa is a parishioner at St. Ignatius, Newton, MA.
Alyssa’s initial focus at TJC is on developing a logo and marketing materials for the CLIA Program and researching information that will be used to develop a three-part Ignatian Spirituality Resource Guide that will include: a directory of program offerings (30-day retreats, 18th and 19th Annotations); a listing of qualified Ignatian Spiritual Directors; and a list of top books and various other media on Ignatian Spirituality for use by Spiritual and Retreat Directors.
Welcome Alyssa!
