The Jesuit Collaborative will offer a 6-week program on Ignatian prayer during the Tuesdays of Lent.  This program will include input, reflection, and faith-sharing on topics relevant to an Ignatian way of prayer.  The program can also be used as preparation for the 19th Annotation, an Ignatian retreat in everyday life. A two-summer intensive program in directing the Exercises will begin in July, 2009 at Fairfield University.  It will seek to provide an in-depth understanding of the text and dynamics of the Exercises, as well as a deeper understanding of their theological and scriptural underpinnings.  Participants will also be helped to develop the practical skills needed to guide a person's prayer during the Ann. 19 or Ann. 20 versions of the retreat. Faculty will include both members of the Fairfield Religious Studies Department as well as visiting scholars and practitioners.

retreat houses, etc.) of the Maryland, New England and New York Jesuit
